I am a Linux Administrator and budding programmer. For my last two employments I have worked for web hosting companies with datacenters in US, UK, AU, and NL.

My family sailed out of Cardiff in 1745, and left it there, leaving my current family not knowing what we were or where we were from, and thinking we were “mutts”. But we are Welsh down 3 family lines, and Scot in the other. And it explains a lot.

I was glad to complete our history and begin learning Cymraeg, and to have my father actually hear our true language on BBC Cymru, along with the amazement of hearing our name (we have roughly the same name and share a name with Aran) spoken when it was the only thing we really understood.

He managed to keep it together without crying. We finally had a home. And I have been bringing it into the family ever since.
