I am learning Welsh because I want to go to live in north Wales I love the countryside and walking the hills and mountains
Also, I was partly brought up by my beloved grandparents and my grandad was a Welshman. He was a miner from Pontyguaith and he went to seek his fortune in London. He became a cobbler and the local people called him Uncle Taff. I have written and illustrated a book about his life in Wales for children (unpublished) which is based on a story he wrote. I love the Welsh harp Llio Rhyderch for example and i do the pilgrimage trails to the places of the Welsh saints.
