I am a former sports journalist and language teacher (EFL), as a linguist I find all languages interesting and believe it is important they are preserved, although I would like to think that Welsh will be the main language of Wales again in the not too distant future.

Living near to Wales and having my hospital there, as well as regualrly enjoying trips to North Wales were also part of my reason for wanting to learn the language.
