Of German origin, lived in the UK since 1983, one grown up son. Lived in Ceredigion since September 2014. Tried to learn Welsh through the council for nearly 2 years but found the book frustrating and the constant closure of classes, then having the choice of much more advanced or go a few months back. Tutor mentioned Nicky’s adopt a learner, found SSiW, enjoyed the trial session. It gave me a new incentive as what I learned stuck and hope that I might one day can speak to my lovely neighbours in their language! Life etc stopped me continuing Say Something but decided in December 2020 time to pick it up again, so here I am!
If I am not battling with the Welsh language I am battling with my Welsh (of course) defaid on my smallholding. I love reading, cooking and eating and feel happiest outdoors.
