My name is Sabiena and I am 58 years old. I am Dutch, but have been living in England for 30 years now. My husband and I are planning to move to Wales in the near future, which is why I am trying to learn Welsh. I am really enjoying the course, but unfortunately I don’t know any Welsh people near me so I am not getting any speaking practice. We were in Wales a few weeks ago to look at some properties and I did say a few words, but I did find it all a bit daunting. Hopefully I will gain more confidence soon. I am planning to retire soon which will then give me the opportunity to start the 6 months Welsh course.
