In the summer of 2018 we had the privilege to visit Wales. I have been using online tools to learn Welsh. I can write a few short sentences back and forth with friends in Wales. Speaking Welsh with someone is difficult for me. I was able to say a few words with people when I visited which was exciting.
I hope to continue to learn so that some day I can have a Welsh conversation.
Even though Welsh is not my primary DNA (we found an ancestor who was a mayor in Pembroke), I feel it is important to learn this language. I have never learned a language before.
