I’m an artist, formerly more printmaking and drawing, now pottery and photography. I’m also a bookperson, I’ve been working in a university bookstore for more than 40 years! I know, crazy. 3 of my grandparents were Welsh. I grew feeling that Welsh defined me. I’ve wanted to learn Welsh since I was about 19, oddly that is a few months after my Dad died. He was a past president of the Luzerne County St Davids Society, very involved in things Welsh. It was chilling in 2007 visiting Wales, like visiting Brigadoon! I want visit again, with sisters, and speak.
