Shwmae! I am a wife to my husband Matt (married 11 years) and mom to two wonderful girls, Autumn and Hazel. During the day, I am a former special education teacher, but now am a special education consultant for the County Educational Agency where I live, focusing on helping teachers who have students with significant behavior challenges. I hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology and Special Education, with an emphasis in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The other loves of my life are travel, genealogy, all things Wales, veggie gardening, and some fiber crafting depending on my mood. I crochet, weave, and occasionally cross stitch during the long Michigan winters!

I sing with Cor Cymry Gogledd America, and have been learning Welsh for about a year via the Duolingo app and the Dysgu Cymraeg Curriculum (via the choir lessons). My Great Grandparents came over from Wales in 1928, and we are very proud of our Welsh heritage…and sad that in our branch of my Evans/Morgan family, the Welsh language did not carry on after them. So I’m here to do my part
