I’m a Skewen girl, born and bred, now living in Neath. Married a Cardi whose first language is Welsh, produced a beautiful girl between us who is in Welsh medium education, have two fluent Welsh speaking stepsons and a fluent mother in law. Felt that I was missing out. Jumped at the chance to join SSIW, been learning for around 12 weeks and already able to converse with the family, albeit with lots of mistakes! Absolutely loving this process.
