Hi im 53 mother of three who all either went or my youngest still in Welsh Education. I learnt a little in Aberystwyth where they told me the best spoke Welsh is ! this was 30 years ago during my PGCE so less than a year an evening course gave me great pronunciation I have since tried learning. Iam a play therapist for kids cancer Wales. I am passionate about Wales and always feel cheated that I wasn’t taught Welsh in Tenby. When my mother enquired only French was on offer yet it was my grandmothers first tongue. I would love to converse with some of my friends who speak Welsh as a first language.**
