I am a volunteer with the RNLI and moved to Anglesey nearly 4 years ago. I have attended Welsh lessons for 3 years and go about speaking Welsh at every opportunity. I have no lessons during the summer and like to use SSiW to improve my Welsh fluency. It was recommended by a lady in my class who learned a lot of spoken Welsh using SSiW before coming to classes. She is very fluent. My 14 year old daughter has been in a bilingual school for 4 years and has taken Welsh 2nd language GCSE 2 years early, and is now in the first language classes doing welsh BAC and literature. I tell you this to encourage you that if you put in the effort it really pays off. We are now integrating into the Welsh speaking community and love taking part in cultural and social activities.
