Walking with llamas

As part of our ongoing practice conversation (level 2) my speaking partner and I try to introduce new words to expand our vocabulary and to assist us to talk about what we have been doing. This week having been on a walk with llamas I went to the usual sources for assistance. I enjoyed the irony of finding an English word starting ll- being lama in Cymraeg, but have struggled to identify gender and plural of the noun “lama”. Any help gratefully received. Diolch.

The plural is lamaod, and this is one of the nouns that can be either gender
