After new years I came back to university in my third year, after parctiving my welsh and almost completing the 6 month course I was on a night with the rest of my course and met someone who decided to ask if I spoke welsh {I loved this, please do this if you meet peopole} I proceded to have a conversation with him, using wenglish for atleat 45 minutes, and then ocasionally switching to english. I’ve got to say; to anyone doing this course, just use what you learn, be confident. If you’re wrong, you’re wrong. Who really cares. The positives (speaking to someone and making a friend, speaking in his first language and have him help me and compliment me on my progress. Saying I’m ahead of any speaker at my progress level really is amazing…) it really outways the negatives…

Brilliant - well done! That’s exactly the way to do it, and exactly the attitude to have!
