I tried LyX for a while – this would be sometime in the 90s – but went on to LaTeX fairly shortly afterwards. I really like LaTeX and XeTeX as concepts, but never had the need to use it for long in anger so eventually dropped it. Now Markdown and Org Mode cover almost all the things I would have used LaTeX for.
I presume šḫ is Hittite for “Be quiet”?
