I’m sure I have spelt it wrong but I hear the word tymod on TV
Any ideas as to its meaning.

It’s a quite common interjection in southern Welsh, used the same as in English “you know?”
It’s a heavily contracted form you (wyt) ti’n gwybod.
In the north you’ll hear wsti? instead, a contraction of wyddost ti?
