(Little message just to let you know that the fact that I, for one, haven’t joined yet is not due to a lack of interest - rather It’s a joint fear of actually speaking Welsh and one of having to use tools like Zoom that is keeping me behind. So I hope that this serves both as an encouragement for you - that more people are interested than you may realise - and for me to actually get myself behind a computer next week)
I have more or less given up, I enjoyed the lessons so much. When I finished it all went wrong, the lessons gave me structure. I have week after week proved to be too cowardly to speak to people online, even though it is what I need.
I went to Swansea on the 28th of February, with my daughter who went to university there. It was a special time to be there. She lived there for about eight years, I visited many times. We enjoyed three choirs in the market and saw Johns’ Boys in Brangwyn Hall ( where Rachael had her graduation). I was unable to sing at the end, since coming home I am learning the anthem, the first verse and chorus, for now.
If joining in with abandon next time is my limit so be it, I appreciate the language even more as a result of the lessons.
I woke this morning and was able to sing it tunelessly all the way through🤗.

Please don’t let those fears hold you back @CalonGoch-Felen - many of us can identify with both of them - but that foot across the threshold, joining for the first time, is the hardest part - and we’re very friendly. I remember too, listening far more than speaking, and some weeks not understanding far more than I did, other weeks feeling I clicked with things much better. (Listening to the ‘chipmunks’ for a level you’ve reached, before joining the chat, was something I used to find helpful).
So please do join us, it would be lovely to see you. Have you got the link from @rich ?

Please do join us @victoria-36 - making that step the first time is huge, I know, but so worth it. Do it because you want to meet other friendly people for a chat - and don’t be afraid to just listen, or to ask them to slow down. And know that it is totally normal not to understand everything, or to find some people easier to understand than others. And all learners have been there - it’s just part of the journey.
(Brilliant learning the anthem - I remember listening to a choir in the bandstand on Aberystwyth prom - no, I couldn’t understand everything that they sang in Welsh - but at the end, they sang the anthem - and that feeling of connection, of being able to join in, was huge. So please don’t underestimate what you’ve achieved!)
I may ne struggling to get back in time. 
A new Welsh expression I’ve learned which seems to sum up the above:
Cam dros y trothwy, hanner y daith
Literally, ‘A step over the threshold, half the journey’…
