My reaction was surprise. Here in Scotland I got my eyes done pretty quickly. I don’t trust private medicine for cataracts as the only person I knew who used a private hospital never saw properly thereafter. I am glad to read that now the NHS is to operate. One eye at a time is usual. That’s what I had.
