The Guardian is inviting people who live in Pwllheli and Penrhyn Llŷn to write to its “let’s move to” column by Tuesday 14th November 2017. The request and email address appear at the end of yesterday’s feature about Frome in Somerset.
I live in Liverpool and am therefore not qualified to participate. However those of you who do live in the area might perhaps like to take this chance to help outsiders to understand the cultural sensitivities of moving to Llŷn, and the rewards of learning Welsh if you do go to live there.
This is not the first time that the column has featured that region. It was most recently covered in 2011 in an article which may still be read on-line. There is even a plug for SSiW right at the bottom of the below-the-line comments.
