The boss has a fever

Aran will be mostly absent today as he’s in bed with a fever so the control tower is empty. Apologies for anyone needing to get in touch with him. X

Get well soon @aran! but take as many days as needed. I bet @CatrinLliarJones will at least pass by control tower to see if everything is OK. And I (as i tend to moan (and cause problems sometimes) too much - hehe) will be good girl, I promise. -

Good wishes to Aran of course, but I’d always thought you were the boss, Catrin? If the control tower’s womaned, fliers can rest assured…

Now if the boss here could just catch a teeny, tiny, teeny fever - just enough to create a croak in the voice and still the whip. I’ve just been told to do the house-work and the cooking at “ramming speed”.

Get well, Aran,

Justin

I’d put some shugar in the schnapps and burn everything on the safe (deep) plate (be careful with that though not to burn anything else), then pure this into the cup and drink it. Then … cooking in the bed begins but this is only good thing despite all wet going out of you.

Both of us are now down and it’s become apparent that we have the flu! I don’t think either of us can remember ever having had a proper dose of the flu before - it’s awful. :frowning:

Are kids well, since I have a feeling it came from them (from last week) to you now and adults sometimes tend to “suffer” more then kids.

As I said … get well soon, not because of SSi and us but because of yourselves. But, as every bad (awful) has it’s good side (as I tend to say) now you have the chance to rest a bit so use it well! The work always awaits no matter what …

Both kids have had flu immunisations, thank goodnes, though Angharad is home with a heavy cold and had a bad night of it with the rest of us, Beuno is at school and so far as right as rain. My brother, poor guy, also has the flu and his eldest us home I’ll with him.

My sister was home with the flu last week and was here on Sunday with the rest of the family for Angharad’s birthday party - just goes to show how infectious it is!

Get well soon Aran, rest, drink lots of water and take your paracetomol 4 times a day, John Bsc (Hons) Adult Nursing !!

Oh, no! Brysia wella, @CatrinLliarJones! The flu is miserable, and it’s not made better by having little ones that need you (I speak from experience) :frowning: I hope you both have a speedy recovery and the contagion stops now.

(And Penblwydd Hapus i Angharad  )

Yup. My husband is home for a week and a half already too and I prevented the worst with preventive dose of “LEKADOL + C” (which I’m sorry you don’t have there in UK, because it’s really doing great work) also having a bit of cold though. My son is the only OK for now going to school for now too.

So, this is kind of international thingy at the moment I see.

Get well soon all of you! I’m sorry I can’t do more and help more though.
