Iāve already learnt some Welsh, and am finding it difficult to think in terms of siarad es i rather than mi nes i siarad. Which is the most correct form?

There isnāt really a āmost correctā form here and youāll hear either depending on where you are in Wales and who is speaking. The first one is often written as āsiaradais iā, but is said āsiarades iā and sometimes spelt that way. You could also say the second one without the āmiā, i.e. just ānes i siaradā and youāll hear that a lot.
