What is the verb used for ‘to throw’ in L3S? It sounds like doled with an ‘i’ sound in front or ‘ei doled e’ kind of thing going on and therefore a soft mutation may be involved, so maybe toled…can’t find any likely suspects in dictionaries ar hyn o bryd

I usually see it spelled as twlyd (in the unmutated form). The other thing you are hearing is the construction “ei … e”, meaning him (or it) For example:
Gad i fi ei dwlyd e - Let me throw it

I see ok thank you. This was one of my likely suspects; surprisingly I can’t find it in a dictionary. Not that this matters - Normally it just confirms you’ve understood/ got it right.
