P’nawn da, friends. My wife and I expect to be visiting in Wales this coming summer for two to three weeks late July-early August. We would like very much to sit in on some town choirs that have rehearsals open to the public. Can anyone suggest any to me? Thanks very much.
Where will you be staying?
The Welsh National Eisteddfod is being held in Monmouthshire in 2016 and your visit will co-incide with it. The Maes will be on the Castle Meadows in Abergavenny. If you are able to attend you could listen to a range of choirs in the various competitions.

Now there is a fine idea. Foolish of me, I suppose, but I had not even thought about that. We are intending to be at Eisteddfod, but only the first couple days. We’ve a room booked at the Coach and Horses in Tredegar July 31 to August 2.
