For anyone living outside Wales and feeling a hiraeth for the land and it’s stunning scenery, check out Dylan Arnold’s photography. He is an award winning landscape and light-painting photographer based in Llanrug, North Wales.

His personal project ‘Cymru Cudd / Hidden Wales’ will be exhibiting at Storiel, Bangor during September/October 2019. Dates are yet to be confirmed.

Find his views a bit like Nordic drama sets… bleak and empty and sad, even in the sunshine! I prefer to feel the cwtch of hiraeth not the scream! Sorry. These things are very subjective!

Your photos are amazing, Gareth - they make me more grateful than ever to live here! I wonder if, when people get to the photo entitled ‘The best view in Wales’, (in the ‘Wales’ album) you’re going to start a heated debate? I must say the view IS stunning…!
