I originally posted this on the Accelerated learning page of FB, but Aran quickly introduced me to good sense! For those of you (sadly restricted to men) who live in the Conwy area, and might fancy a bit of Choral singing mixed with opportunities to use the language of Heaven, the choir I joined 6 weeks or so ago (Cor Meibion Maelgwn) is holding a practice session on Monday 24th Oct, which is being advertised as a chance to try before you buy! If there is any appetite (and the moderators agree) I could post more details or even a link. It is a genuine opportunity to exercise your acquired skills - all the conductor’s instructions, all the choir details, etc, are in Welsh. The guys are incredibly welcoming to incomers, more or less regardless of musical ability (or so it seems to me!)
