Pobol Y Cwm continuity errors amuse me

I’ve just been watching without subtitles, and Gary was in the shop asking where the tagliatelle was, and Colin told him it was on the top shelf on the left (something like shelf top ar y chwith)…then we see Gary taking the pasta from the middle shelf on the right. Colin even gestured towards the right with his little baguette that he was holding whilst he said “on the left” ha haa. I can’t make it to Bootcamp, but at least those difficult Bootcamp Vocab lessons have paid off (wink).

And I’m giving myself a pat on the back for understanding what was said.

What’s even more amusing is when the subtitles are out of synch

Oh yes, Rob, hearing one thing in Welsh and reading a different thing in English is so confusing you just have to smile! Reminds me of that old Two Ronnies sketch

Da iawn, Carole - good spotting in what used to be a language you couldn’t speak! These “little” victories are actually the big wins of learning a language. That bit is definitely learnt, and yours!

Who needs bootcamp, when you’ve got pobl y cwm!

Who needs bootcamp, when you’ve got pobl y cwm!

What! Are you suggesting that staying at home in my pjs watching TV and not having to talk to anyone all day is better than bootcamp?? well, I wish I’d known about this option sooner!

Oh d**n - Did I forget to complete the post?

“Who needs bootcamp when you have pobl y cwm? Everyone!”
