Really enjoying lessons,now up to lesson 5,can anyone tell me when I have to start paying for lessons

You don’t have to until you finish the first course and want to move onto the second, but you can do whenever you want.
Edit: The reasoning behind this was, if memory serves, that the people behind this site want as many people as possible to learn to speak Welsh to at least a basic level. Making it free seemed like a pretty good way to help that along.
