Excellent, happy memories…

I’ll probably order that again this year…

For anyone worrying about attending Bootcamp for the first time, here’s a snippet of last year’s hilarity…

I’ve made…a terrible mistake.

It’s continuous, 7 full days, I don’t think he sleeps in his room, he just winds up for the next day.

Remind me … why do we sign up for this again?

I’m starting to wonder this daily.

I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much as I did at last year’s Bootcamp. However, I still don’t know what M and I were laughing at here!

And then there was this…

“gig yn y gegin”, what a superb night that was. I’ve no idea what you have planned this year to top that but it’ll have to be amazing.

Well, I’m intending taking a kit, and I’m hoping Gruntius is bringing a Cajon…

I don’t mind taking my cajon at all. I’ve never really played it but how difficult can it be, right?

I’d love to have a thrash on your kit too but I’d be worried about the volume of an acoustic kit, they can be really, REALLY loud.

I’ll also be taking a few juggling balls because I’ve got a little unfinished business with @mintonman.

It’s OK, it’s my electric I was going to bring; much as I’d like to bring an acoustic, it seems a little antisocial.

And juggling balls sounds good - you can teach me

That sounds good, I’d love to try those.

Mark @mintonman is the guy to teach you how to juggle, he’ll be showing me some tricks too.

Iawn. Juggling stuff, the electro-acoustic guitar and the box of tricks that makes the guitar sound like a bass all on the packing list. Gwych.

Was their some earlier discussion about picking a few tunes that those of us who wanted to could work up a little in advance? If we knew two or five tunes, that might get us started (and people could bring or even learn some words…) - though learning things off each other there / just mucking about both sound hwyl i mi hefyd!

There’s quite a few tunes on the Welsh Music thread now that are online - is any of that worth picking a couple out from?

A Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus i chi, pawb!

Should I bring my juggling clubs too Mark? I’d love to have a little practice session in the mornings before all the lazy heads (not looking at you @atomic_newt and @ianblandford ) manage to get sorted. :astonished:

As far as choons go, just let me know which ones you fancy and I’ll get them learnt before getting there. May be a little fun one evening.
