I know Ifor has a few fans on here (even if some of them hide when they see him!), so I thought I’d give you a heads-up…
Ifor ap Glyn: Blwyddyn y Bardd will be on S4C at 9.30pm Wednesday 2nd of August. It’s a one-off hour-long documentary about his first year as the National Poet of Wales. It’s mostly in Welsh but there will be subtitles.
HEDD WYN The Lost War Poet (Ifor presenting) will be on BBC2 Wales at 9pm Saturday 5th of August. This is a one-off hour-long documentary about Hedd Wyn and the development and restoration of his home, Yr Ysgwrn, and the Black Chair. This one is in English, although we have managed to get a fair bit of Welsh into it!
Hedd Wyn - Canrif o Gofio (Ifor presenting again) will be on S4C at 9.30pm on Wednesday 6th of September. This is more or less the Welsh version of the one above, although there are a few deifferences, and of course this one will be in Welsh (subtitles available!)
All these will also appear on catch-up (S4C/clic and iPlayer) for 35 days after their initial broadcasts.
