Don’t miss out listening to the introduction to the new Level 1 course, even if you’re much further into the old course. It’s great motivation, and reinforces the don’t worry SSiW mantra, don’t be a perfectionist (like me!) and laugh at your mistakes (What!? ! … I have recurring nightmares about mine!).

Worth a listen on a regular basis.

I did look for an introduction to the new southern course, as mentioned in Challenge 1, but couldn’t see it?

There’s nothing region-specific in the intro, I assume it’s supposed to be shared.
