Apologies but Gareth and I won’t be there this month. A month of us both being away has taken its toll. We’ll be back in August with plenty to talk about and tales of the Eisteddfod

There’s a group that sometimes meet in the evening in Manchester. I think they vary the days they meet. Here’s a link to a facebook page where people share events in Manchester for Welsh learners. Hope you manage to get to something soon.

There are classes every Thursday morning in West Didsbury. These are a bit more formal but with opportunities to chat too. They are held in the Noddfa Chapel 10.00 til 11.45 and a lady called Lilian Garrett kindly offers these free lessons to anyone interested.

The next Manchester Meet up is Saturday 18th July, usual place and time - see this thread for more info. I will be on my way to Pen Llyn for a fortnight that day so won’t be able to make it. Hope it goes well!
There has been a suggestion that we also do a walk and chat morning in Manchester in addition to the monthly meet up. I think this is a brilliant idea. It is looking like this may be happening Saturday 5th September. Watch this space…

Just a reminder that the next Manchester Meetup is this Saturday,15th August at Manchester Art Gallery Cafe (Mosley Street, Manchester M2 3JL), 10.30 a.m onwards. Everyone welcome, whatever stage your Welsh is at. I believe there is also going to be some Spanish chat going on alongside so if anyone is also learning Spanish…
