Hi, I wanted to ask why the word “bod” is not used in dw i’n meddwl liciwn i siarad cymraeg

Hi,
Bod would be used if the second half of the sentence would have used the present tense of bod - if it was a sentence on its own - hopefully that makes sense!
Other tenses use ‘y’ to mean ‘that’ however it is often left out in speech.
Licwn if a ‘future conditional’ - I would like ie and so uses an ‘unstated’ y.
