In the i newspaper Saturday Mrs Mc Cabe co-director of Princes Teaching Institute said that the best language teachers do not follow pre-digested workbook aiming at functional phrase competence. If possible Students should travel abroad as a way of bringing the language to life.
To my mind this only confirms that the SSIW is the best way to learn to speak a language and local SSIW groups give confidence and help people become fluent.
If you live in England its not too far to travel to Wales.

Once you know where you will be, do be sure to check out the local “meetups” and perhaps get in touch with the contact person ahead of time to see what might be going on while you are there.
