Interesting programme tonight...S4C 8.25pm

I saw a trailer for a programme that should be really interesting, tonight on S4C at 8.25pm, Olion: Palu am Hanes, uncovering hidden histories by digging into the archaeology at Fferm Llwydfaen, Conwy.

One person that caught my eye on the trailer was Rhys Mwyn, who took me and the Northern Bootcamp group on a fascinating tour of Gaer Rufeinig Segontium.

Wi’n edrych ymlaen!

Enjoyed the first programme which is “Time Team” like but better. No subtitles, but followed most of it.
Second parts tomorrow.

Argh! Spiltting it across the week! But I want to know what they’re found NOW!

Talking of Time Team, there was a comedy programme on Radio 4 a long time ago, which described Tony Robinson (famous for being Baldrick in the Black Adder series) as “The annoying, badly dressed and rather stupid side-kick on Time Team”.

Anyway, back to topic - I’m looking forward to watching this as well. I love Time Team, although the Anglocentric grasp of history sometimes gets under my skin, so this should be right up my street!

Wouldn’t it be great if they found a fossilized apple with a bite taken out of it. The story of Adam and Eve might have to be rewritten…
