In praise of the new challenges

This isn’t a thread with a question or a particular point. I just wanted to say out loud how delighted I’ve been with the new challenges. I got to about half way through Course 3 and was starting to flag a bit, so decided to give the new Level 1 (southern) a go.

And they truly are brilliant. I’m up to Challenge 7 now, and every one of them has introduced something I haven’t tried before and reminded me of things I’d forgotten.

More important still, they’re just beautifully composed and a pleasure to explore. If anyone else is getting near the end of Course 3 and is wondering what to do next, I’d definitely say give the challenges a try - for fun as much as for the learning benefits.

Thanks Iestyn and Cat.

I’ve also been following these challenges as they have been released. And it has been a HUGE help while working through Course 3 so far! It makes for great practice of what I know already, introduces some new words or new ways to use what I know already, and also introduces some of the short forms we’re doing in course 3 too, so you’re always practicing! Just patiently waiting for challenge 13 now!
