Sometimes I go a few days without checking the forum, is there a quick way to ‘view my post’ like on the old forum instead of scrolling down and finding it?

Yes there is!
Just place the title of your post into the search bar at the top (or at least a few key words) and it should appear.
You can type your name in to the search bar Phil and a list of threads you’ve contributed to should come up.
You can also type in the search bar any keywords or titles you remember using in particular threads/answers.

Yes, that’s good, but it would be even better if there were a way of distinguishing between the threads you have posted in, and the threads you have originated.
I can’t honestly remember if the old forum allowed that, but generally speaking, forums I’ve encountered do allow that important differentiation.

That doesn’t work, at least not on my Android phone. Typing a name in the search box only returns a list of posts that mention the name searched for (eg when someone quotes a post and puts the name of the person they are quoting at the beginning of the quote) not the threads they have contributed to.

Carole, I think you’re correct. That’s how it works on Windows, too.
I have just tried this on my iPad and exactly the same thing happens!
Exactly the same thing as what, to be clear? If you type your name in, do you see every thread in which you’ve posted, or every thread in which your name is somehow mentioned (either by someone quoting you or by someone addressing you by name)?
I type in my own name (as it appears on my profile) and there’s a blank column. Type in my name on its own and every post where my name has been mentioned as part of a comment appears… which current amounts to about 5 posts…
At first glance it appears as if this way of searching for threads that you’ve contributed to does work, in that the threads that are returned in the search results will be ones in which you’ve posted. But this is only because your name appears in someone else’s post.
If you run a search for the name of the originator of this discussion (Phillip David Worth), this thread appears but only because his name is being quoted in Mike’s post. From browsing the forum this evening I have noticed that he has actually contributed to other discussions but they do not appear in the search results, just this one thread. So it def doesn’t work.
