Check and see if there is anything going on in Canolfan Soar. That’s a community centre in Merthyr that does a lot of Welsh speaking stuff

I picked this leaflet up at the Eisteddfod too. I’m not sure about it. Mainly I’m worried it won’t be as good as bwtcamp!
Having attended neither, I can hardly say, but it depends whether you fancy just dipping in a toe for a weekend for £60. Some people find the idea of a whole week with only Welsh a bit of a challenge, some cannot leave family commitments for a whole week, some might have to save to pay for a week, what with fares for the trip, food etc… Everyone’s circumstances are different, so it seems good that there are a variety of Welsh speaking opportunities to choose from! I suspect the success of these things depends on the mix of people as well, and if the group doesn’t gel or has too wide an ability range or an other problem crops up is not something the organisers can help!
