As Deborah says, emojis make things very clear - I remember seeing someone saying that right back in the 90s - his line was emojis are cringe but make friendliness/joke very clear.
Deborah is also right about you being in kind company - and if things aren’t quite landing, we’ll always have a bit of a chat about that first - it’s extremely rare for that not to lead to solutions
