Just trying to work out when you would choose one over the other. I’ve been understanding it as we’ve covered them during the lessons, but I read the quote below in an article earlier and was thinking that, if I’d been formulating that sentence, I’d probably have used gyda:

Is there any general rule as to which should be used when, or is it the usual case of listening to lots of conversations and getting the gist from that? Diolch.
