Major events will take place in the Wales Millennium Centre. Of course, most other events, stall and activities will be ‘open’ this year for anyone to drop into, without requiring a ticket…

I still haven’t quite got in my head how the Eisteddfod is going to be physically structured this year.

Is everything but the caravan/camping site going to be down by the Bay? I know the Millennium Centre is going to be the Pavilion for those who make it through to the main stage . . . but what are they going to do for all the many (many) extra tents normally used for preliminaries, literature, Maes D (learners), Maes B (cool kid hangout), science, art, etc., etc.? And are the vendors just going to set up on Roald Dahl Plas?

The Eisteddfod team haven’t refreshed their website with details of what will be where yet, but I am sure that all will be revealed in good time. Yes stalls in Roald Dahl Plas, and Maes D in the Pierhead building. It will be fantastic for showing the people of Cardiff what the language and culture is all about!
