‘Cos I’ve just decided/realised it actually means:-
“Estimated Time Adra”.
As in Gog for Gitre.
I was just about to ring my son, who borrowed my estate car to take him and 3 mates and all their camping gear to “Download” at Donnington Park last weekend and ask him what his E.T.A. was.
Wenglish is fun sometimes…
