Hi everybody
It looks like I won a 150 £ voucher (for Leekes) in a S4C competition - I vaguely remember taking part, long ago. I guess I won’t be able to collect or spend them, here in Switzerland (details below) - if somebody is interested, I would try to get the vouchers routed towards them - drop me an email at martin.p.wyser@gmail.com or post here.

A fyddwch cystal â chysylltu nôl efo fi i gadarnhau sut allai anfon y talebau atoch chi, gan gynnwys:

· Eich enw;
· Y cyfeiriad i ni anfon y talebau;
· Pa ddiwrnod dros yr wythnos nesaf sy’n gyfleus i chi dderbyn y talebau;

A fyddwch cystal ag anfon y manylion ata i cyn 4.00pm dydd Llun, 25 Ionawr, os gwelwch yn dda. Ar ôl yr amser yma bydd rhaid imi symud ymlaen i’r ail ar ein rhestr, mae gen i ofn.

Owow … I know the “pain” of winning uncollectable prizes, not with S4C though but with other things. Hope you find someone who could collect it instead of you.

What a shame they didn’t support a Welsh business that handles overseas customers! That’s always my priority looking for sponsors of the SSiW Eisteddfod. I hope the petition and attention being given to S4C from overseas SSiWers will help them to think of themselves as communicating Welsh to the world.

But, sorry, that doesn’t help you, Martin, unless someone is likely to be visiting Switzerland and could use the vouchers on your behalf then bring you the gift?

The only other thing I can suggest is that we organise some kind of draw for the vouchers amongst SSiWers living in the UK that might be interested. PM me if you want to discuss any ideas.

I think it is more that Leekes probably supports S4C by a donating a bunch of vouchers, and I can even understand if Leekes would not supply abroad (I don’t know, but would hope they did, because I quite liked some of their stuff *). It is more that it seems they don’t want to send the vouchers abroad, so the prize is probably not so fit am cystadleuaeth e-bost.

Logic contortions aside, I found somebody who is interested, and I’ll keep you posted if we manage to “reroute”. Good practice with the forum for me.

Good, glad to hear someone is interested.

First thing I did was check the Leekes website and it says they don’t supply outside of the UK apart from some items to the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands, but there is a surcharge for those.

So no chance for Switzerland :cry:

I first read this as “£150 to spend on leeks”.

Now, I like leeks, but I wouldn’t want to end up looking like one…

Mae hyna wedi gweithio allan, mae’r vouchers wedi cyrraedd heddiw, by RRM (Royal rocket mail).
Felly, nos dda eto!
