Being deaf/hard-of-hearing I fret over these things—some sounds disappear almost completely and I try to work out the pattern by going to grammar books 
You’re welcome! And there will be everyday structures in our courses that don’t get a mention in a lot of the grammar books, though Gareth King is pretty good at covering all bases
