Short notice, but is anything happening in Cardiff tonight so I can get some practice in?

Unfortunately you missed the quiz by a week! Can’t think of anything at the moment, but will have a look at a few possibilities. Always the Mochyn Du for good food. Are you still in Cardiff tomorrow evening? We are having our Christmas dinner in the MD at 7.

I cannot find anything special going on in any of the usual Welsh language hangouts - MD, Chapter, Clwb Ifor Bach. The Gwdihw is hosting “Jazz Jam” with Cardiff University Jazz Society, but may not have any Welsh speakers there anyway. And it doesn’t give a time. Eglwys Dewi Sant (5 mins from Museum) has an Evening Service at 6 with hymns followed by tea/coffee and biscuits. Mostly first language Welsh and very friendly. Always got time to talk with, and encourage, non-first language speakers.

Sorry we weren’t about - we’re about 35minutes outside Cardiff, rather than in the city, or we’d have wandered over. It’d be great to see you if you’re still about tomorrow evening when the meal’s on.

Just having a quiet day in our capital, nothing much.

On a completely separate note you might like to know that there will be a new quiz on S4C aimed at learners starting in February with the name “Llyncu Geiriau”. :blush:
