Looks like I might be spending some periods of time in California over the next few years. Does any body know of a centre/pub/meet up place around the San Francisco area? Would love to come and have a chat!

You lucky thing! San Francisco is the only place I’ve been in the US and I loved it there.

Thanks for getting in touch Jason. It would be great to meet up and chat. I’m coming over in August for just over a week and will be staying in Berkeley and Discovery Bay - but I will be hiring a car! The dates are 15th - 21st of August.

Da iawn Sam! I’ve been meaning to say that would be great, and both places are fairly convenient for me to get to from here in Sacramento. Just wondering if any other northern California learners out there are available, or anyone else from further afield.
