Blogs/magazines/facebook pages in Cymraeg

I think this could be useful for me and (hopefully) for other learners who don’t live in Wales or the UK in general and thus don’t get as much input as other learners do. Do you know and could you recommend any blogs, facebook pages or magazines (preferably online-versions) that are written entirely or mostly in Cymraeg? I’m not very interested in politics myself, besides, I can read the big political news on BBC Cymru and Golwg360 websites. But something about travelling, science, music, art or just everyday life would be fantastic.

At home here we have a subscription to the magazine ‘Barn’, which is excellent (although quite highbrow Welsh! I’m only now beginning to be able to read it). They have a website, which seems to have some things available to read online:

Will keep thinking to see if anything else occurs. And I’ll be interested in any other suggestions also, of course!

Oh, thank you so much, that’s perfect! I would like to collect links to different levels of materials here, I hope to get to the highbrow Welsh eventually:)

Hi Stella,

Have you ever read Lingo Newydd, the magazine for Welsh learners? It’s by the same people behind Golwg and Golwg 360.

Another magazine is Y Selar, which is to do with the Welsh music scene.

One more thread for your list in “Really useful” index @stella. Don’t forget to list it there!

Diolch, Mererid! I’ve found Y Selar website http://www.y-selar.co.uk/. But Lingo Newydd doesn’t seem to have an online version, unfortunately, though it does seem a very interesting magazine.
