Hi
I’m using the “automagic.saysomethingin.com” version because the new app keeps giving me words I already know (I’ve been reading books & watching S4C so my vocab is coming along nicely), and automagic seems to be better at moving on to new words & structures.
But now I get an error message:
Unable to determine course state
when I log in.
I’ve tried logging out of everything & logging back in, and also clearing all the cookies.
Any other ideas?
Diolch!

@jacky-8 if you swap to the new SaySomethingin App, does it put you on Black Belt? The 2 apps use the same position pointer, but the AutoMagic prototype you’re using doesn’t have the same amount of material as the new app, so you get to a point where the new app is happy with your position, but it doesn’t exist in the prototype. Your only option is to swap to the new app to keep going.
O that’s a shame… because the new app is basically repeating stuff I already know.
I’ve still got a few of the “old style” files to work through, and I suppose I could try just skipping forward in the new app until I find something new, but the whole “belts” thing is just a bit too much like Duo.
The new app takes you to the equivalent of the end of Level 3 in the Challenges, whereas the AutoMagic prototype doesn’t have Level 3 material.
If you’ve already done all the Challenges, then it will be revision for you, but there is also different material in the old Original Courses, so people find those useful to work through once they’ve finished the Challenges or the new app. It will go into Infinite Play mode when you reach the end and continue to give you random practice from throughout the course.
