I often say that the single thing that will improve your Welsh with the least effort is to get involved in something where you can use your Welsh incidentally - where there’s a purpose and a goal other than using your Welsh - where you can worry about something other than whether you just got a mutation wrong or used a slightly inappropriate tense.
Well, if you live in Brecon and Radnor, here’s your chance. The Urdd Eisteddfod wants to come to our district and in order to create a sensible invitation, we need hordes of volunteers. There’s lots of work to be done and you probably know that people, let alone Welsh speakers, are thin on the ground in our counties, so the contribution that learners can make will be crucial.
Come along to the public meeting on the 10th of November in Brecon. It’s going to be a win-win for all of us!
