Tonight, I thought I’d do a bit more, but this time was back on my laptop- but now I can’t get Automagic to run on there. It says “unable to determine course state” and won’t play anything at all! It’s still working fine on the App on my iPhone.

Seems I’ve thoroughly confused Automagic! Is there anyway the progress on laptop and iPhone can be synced? I’m at black belt 81% on the app and that’s very comfortable for me, so it would be great if I could use Automagic on my laptop at the exactly same place. Hope this makes sense!

When you’re trying to run AutoMagic on your laptop, are you using the browser version of the new app - app.saysomethingin.com - or are you using the older AutoMagic prototype - automagic.saysomethingin.com? I’ve seen that “unable to determine course state” error with the AutoMagic prototype, so I’m wondering if it’s that.

It’s possible to sync between the AM prototype and the new app for the earlier material, but once you get to Black belt in the new app, that doesn’t exist in the prototype, so there’s nothing to sync to.

Could that be your issue? If you make sure you’re using app.saysomethingin.com on your laptop, does that fix one of the problems?
