*Another* new job

I’m sat in Worcester waiting to be called to the warehouse transport office and drive an LGV back down to Fareham. So I’m halfway through my first shift as a trucker! Only the tiddlers - 7.5 tonners, but even they have air brakes and everything! As soon as my licence comes back from Swansea, I’ll be going up a category to Class 2 lorries, that go up to 18 tons. After a couple of years experience, the plan is to drive 18-wheelers. Specialising in Welsh runs. Eventually, I want to drive up Atigan pass…

Hey, llongyfarchiadau mawr i ti, 'rhen goes! Didn’t see that one coming - hope you have fun with it! Sounds as though you might be needing some language learning mp3 files to keep you company - what language do you fancy next?..

Llongyfarchiadau Gary!! Gobeithio bod ti’n mwynhau’r teithio ac weld yr hen wlad!

Llongyfarchiadau & pob lwc, Gary -

  • but when you get on to the 18 wheelers, please, please avoid the B4340 between Aberystwyth and Tregaron.

Swahili please Aran! Mind you, everyone speaks Swahili…
Just got home after my first shift. They shut the M4 Eastwards at Swindon for one junction, just so I had the pleasure of a detour through Marlborough on the way home. It’s really what you need, a night-time drive in a type of vehicle you last drove 26 years ago…
Huw, you’ve just ruined my future - that’s my favourite road. Oh hang on, ALL Welsh roads are my favourites…
SJ - DIOLCH dwi’n methu aros!

Gwych Gary! Llongyfarchiadau mawrion mawr!

Now, how’s your stash of Yorkies looking, are you stocked up?

Swahili please Aran!

As it happens, Gaby has been playing around with the beginnings of some stuff for Swahili…!

Llongyfarchiadau! Hope it’s gonna be the change you need. At least you have the most beautiful office one could get

And there’s only one seat! Thanks all, I’m enjoying myself.
@Catrin - I actually prefer Double-Deckers, Yorkies are for girls the last time I looked
I’m seriously wondering about some Chinese, which means sussing out which Chinese, Mandarin or Cantonese…
