Occasionally I randomly run through a lesson from level one or level two. About a third of the way through lesson twenty two a sentence in English is “I shouldn’t ask everyone to help you” to which Aran’s response is “Ddylwn i ddim gofyn wrth pawb i helpu ch’di”. This being what I would expect. But I’m hearing Catrin say "Ddyliwn… ". Am I hearing this wrongly or is there another explanation?
You’re probably hearing it fine - it’s a common variation, somewhere on the delicate line between accent and dialect… 
Thanks Aran. I rather like the sound of “Ddyliwn”. Has a nice flow to it. Just thought that there might be a grammatical thing that I was unaware of or that I might need my ears as well as my eyes correcting.

Does the ‘wrth’ have to be there. I would have translated it without but would that sound incomplete?
No, actually you’d be a bit more technically correct - ‘gofyn i’ rather than ‘gofyn wrth’ - just a bit of sloppy informal usage creeping in there…
